Helherron Mage Spells
Mage spells are cast by the Mage and Bard.  When you cast a spell you select a multiplier to cast it at, the magic point cost (MP) listed is for the multiplier of 1.  Increasing the multiplier increases the MP cost and *may* provide some benefit.  Damage spells increase damage done, summon spells summon more creatures, but some spells seem to be unaffected by casting them at higher multipliers.
I believe this list is complete. However, because of how random spells are, I could be missing something.

Very Easy
Burning Hands 4 Flames burst from caster's hands.  Base damage: 30-40.
Icy Hands 4 Icy hails burst from caster's hands.  Base damage: 30-40.
Shocky Hands 4 Electric power bursts from caster's hands.  Base damage: 30-40.
Shock Dart 4 Small, electric dart hits target.  Base damage: 9-15.
Fire Dart 4 Small, hot dart hits target.  Base damage: 9-15.
Cold Dart 4 Small, cold dart hits target.  Base damage: 9-15.
Confuse Monster 4 Mind attack causes target to confuse for 2-4 turns.
Magic Armor 3 Target's AC is increased by 4 and damage from spells is slightly reduced.
Cold Shield 3 Target's cold resistance is boosted by 40%.
Shock Shield 3 Target's shock resistance is boosted by 40%.
Fire Shield 3 Target's fire resistance is boosted by 40%.
Slow Monster 4 Target's movement points are halved.
Easy
Flare 5 Creates an immaterial shining sphere that lights its surroundings.
Giant Strength 6 Target's melee damage is increased by 12%.
Create Fire 4 Creates fire at specified location on the battlefield.  Base damage: 4-14.
Create Ice 4 Creates some ice at specified location.
Fear 4 Mind attack causes target to panic.
Sleep 5 Target falls asleep.
Land To Mud 6 Land at a 5x4 area (not floor, must be grass/sand) becomes mud.
Stun Monster 5 Mind attack causes target to stun.
Frozen Legs 5 Target loses its movement points for one turn.  Base damage: 5-20.
Intermediate
Cold Bolt 6 Large, cold bolt hits target.  Base damage: 35-70.
Shock Bolt 6 Large, electric bolt hits target.  Base damage: 35-70.
Firebolt 6 Large, hot bolt hits target.  Base damage: 35-70.
Hallucination 5 Target sees hallucinations.
Fire Wall 10 Creates a wall fire at specified location on the battlefield.  Base damage: 4-14.
Self-Teleportation 7 Caster is teleported to the specified location on the battlefield.
Shock Weapon 8 Target weapon causes extra shock damage.  Base damage: 10-20.
Fire Weapon 8 Target weapon causes extra fire damage.  Base damage: 10-20.
Ice Weapon 8 Target weapon causes extra ice damage.  Base damage: 10-20.
Create Great Fire 10 Creates a 3x3 area of fire at specified location on the battlefield.  Base damage: 4-14.
Roots 5 Strange roots rise from the ground: target can't move.
Hard
Greater Flare 10 Creates a great immaterial shining sphere that lights its surroundings.
Shock Ball 10 Large, electric ball explodes causing damage to all enemies in 3x3 area.  Base damage: 30-60.
Fireball 10 Large, hot ball explodes causing damage to all enemies in 3x3 area.  Base damage: 30-60.
Cold Ball 10 Large, cold ball explodes causing damage to all enemies in 3x3 area.  Base damage: 30-60.
Boulder 10 A heavy stone hits target.  Base damage: 30-60.
Lightning Bolt 8 Lightning bolt hits target.  Base damage: 50-90.
Heatburst 11 Causes high fire damage to all creatures surrounding caster.  Base damage: 170-220.
Reality Ripple 11 Target disappears for 2-3 turns, then comes back.
Haste 13 Target's movement points are doubled in combat.
Berserk 10 Target attacks nearest creatures in a rage.
Drain Life 9 Drains life (20-40 points) from target to caster.
Lightning 10 Powerful lightning hits target.  Base damage: 75-175.
Flame Wave 12 3x1 flame wave.  Base damage: 150-200.
Sea Of Flames 16 Creates a 6x6 area of fire at specified location on the battlefield.  Base damage: 4-14.
Very Hard
Teleportation 10 Target is teleported to specified location on the battlefield.
Prismatic Spray 18 Causes a magical disturbance around target resulting in several random magic effects.
Angled Cold Ball 11 Large, cold ball explodes causing damage to all enemies in 3x3 area.  Base damage: 30-60.
Imprison 10 Creates a magical cage around the target.
Mass Confusion 17 All enemies that fail to resist are confused for 1-2 turns.
Fire Storm 24 6x6 fire storm at specified location.  Base damage: 65-120.
Ice Storm 24 6x6 ice storm at specified location.  Base damage: 65-120.
Chain Lightning 17 Lightning hits up to five targets.  Base damage: 75-175.
Ball Lightning 24 Summons a ball lightning that is controlled by the spellcaster.  Base damage: 25-80.
Summon Elemental 65 An elemental is summoned to help the caster in battle.
Bloodbath 32 Boils the blood of all hostile creatures.  Base damage: 30-100.
Blood Boil 32 Boils target's blood.  Base damage: 400-700.
Inferno 40 Powerful fire storm at specified location.  Base damage: 100-230.
Blizzard 40 Large bulk of ice is shot to the target, and smaller shrapnel explode to hit few nearby targets.  Base damage: 150-350.
