Helherron Equipment
Items come in the basic, modified and artifact versions.  One or more modifiers or spell effects can be given to an item to make it modified.  Artifacts are unique items.  In the charts below you can find the basic weapon and armor types as well as many of the modifiers those pieces can have.  Modifiers can also take the form of "Poisonous" or "Flaming", but since these are pretty self explanatory I didn't list them.  Equipment can also have spells that modify them, so you can have "Boots of Water Breathing" or a "Long bow of Charm".  Many of the modifiers can stack so you can have multiple modifiers on a single item. 

Additionally, the generic +1 (or more) modifier can be on any item.  The 'Enchanter' in Castle Galatako can even add up to a +5 modifier to any item.

The modifer "Cursed" just means the item cannot be removed if you equip it.  It has no effect on the attributes or value of the item.  The Uncurse spell can remove the "Cursed" property from an item.

Godly *4+32 Light weight.  Double damage against demons and the undead.  Throws target back.  (Damage is the base damage value x 4 + 32, so a Sabre would have a damage value of 52 = (5*4) + 32.  Throw damage is +8 and range is +10.)  (VERY RARE!)

Other Equipment
There is a large variety of other equipment in the game.  Rings and necklaces are the other pieces that can be worn.  Your spell casters learn spells by reading 'books'.  There are scrolls, potions, mushrooms, flowers, food, lockpicks, instruments, gems, etc.  Lockpicks can have the many of the same modifiers as weapons and armor.
